Tiny House

Ok, one slight problem thus far.  My family came out to see me present (awwww, right?) and they are staying in a house in the mountains a little off campus.  I am mainly staying on campus while I'm here because it's convenient but I did stay out with them last night when we got in.  Let me tell you, the house/cabin is lovely (minus the abundance of wall decorations that say stuff like "country love" and "home is where the heart is" -- oh and the weird wreath above the fireplace).  But questionable interior decorating aside, I'm pretty sure the house was designed and made for people no taller than 5 feet and I'm definitely a wee bit taller (as is my dad).  So basically I had to walk around with a hunch the whole time.  Even the appliances seem lower.  All I could think of was Tiny House (the Geico commercial from back in the day).  Anyway, entertaining to say the least.  Luckily I'm now in the dorms and can walk upright again.
